Always feel free to call. All you have to do is let me know what the problem is and I’ll do whatever I can to fix it. Whether its good news or bad news, I’ll be here to help.

Adam J. Davey, an associate at SBW Law, handles cases involving primarily law enforcement officers, the Law Enforcement Officers’ Bill of Rights and police discipline. He also has some experience in criminal defense, collective bargaining, labor law and civil litigation. Adam has represented hundreds of law enforcement officers in administrative matters throughout the State of Maryland, and has assisted in drafting appeals that have reached Maryland’s highest court, the Court of appeals.

Adam received his undergraduate degree from then Lynchburg College, now the University of Lynchburg, in central Virginia. He graduated with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Communication Studies. As an undergrad, Adam was a member of the Westover Honors Program, the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, and the Men’s Varsity Lacrosse Team. He also received multiple awards, including the Student Athlete Leadership Award as well as the Joseph F. Freeman Political Science Award.

Adam attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law where he was a member of the Journal of Healthcare Law and Policy, participated in the Mediation Clinic becoming a certified mediator, and graduated cum laude. Adam served as a Law Clerk at SBW Law for over two years, splitting time between administrative and criminal defense work as well as civil litigation. He also worked as an intern for the Honorable Judge Daniel Friedman on the Court of Special Appeals, assisting in drafting judicial opinions. Following law school, Adam came straight to work at SBW Law, receiving the position of associate attorney after passing the bar exam in December of 2018.

In addition to his law practice, Adam has stayed involved in the lacrosse community, coaching for various teams and working individually with youth players in Baltimore to hone their skills. He enjoys going to Ravens games on Sundays and spending time in the city, where he has lived the past three years.
